Got some new cupboards! Don't they look terrific? I'm liking the green stain. Goes well with the yellow paint on the walls. Snaps also to whoever decided to stain the window panes instead of painting them. Nice touch!
As you all can tell, 626 is coming along nicely. We have bricks around the bottom of the huge slab now, to cover up the cement blocks, and the front steps are nearly finished. It looks like the kitchen will be a great room. I can't what to cook up a mess of greens, folks. In fact, that color green on the cabinets is a turnip green green, huh? Pot likker, maybe. And the yellow is almost a cornbread shade. Ooh I'm getting hungry.
I would like to take this time to introduce you all to the latest addition to the Lyons-in-Oxford family. Pictured below is our new puppy, Scout. She is named after Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird because they are both from Alabama. Scout's about 13 weeks old, loves rawhide and peanut butter. We think she's part Staffordshire Bull Terrier, but on the dotted line, she's mixed.
I hope you are all having a great Thursday. Laters rollerskaters.

The color of the cabinets is actually blue--sort of an aqua
I can't believe how quickly things are moving at 626! I can taste the yardbird already!
